Application and enrolment at IAE Paris Est

Understanding recruitment procedures

The application process at IAE Paris-Est is structured around key steps, adapted to each level and type of programme (bachelor’s or master’s). Selection is based on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance: quality of previous education.
  • Standardised test scores:
    • Score IAE-Message (SIM) – compulsory
    • Other test scores depending on the programme (e.g. TOEIC)
  • Career goals: alignment with the objectives and values of the chosen programme.
  • Extracurricular experience: involvement in associations, sport, or cultural activities.

Score IAE-Message

The IAE-Message Score (SIM) is a national aptitude test used by most Institutes of Business Administration (IAE) to assess general skills considered essential for business and management studies: general knowledge, economic and managerial knowledge, reading and writing skills in French, logical and numerical reasoning, as well as reading and writing skills in English.
