International exposure is a valuable asset for enhancing both your academic journey and professional prospects. At IAE Paris-Est, students benefit from a wide range of international opportunities through over 140 partner universities, internships abroad, and mobility grants.
Whether it’s for a semester, an internship, or a gap year, these experiences empower students to develop new skills, broaden their network, and adapt to the demands of a global job market.
IAE Paris-Est gives students the opportunity to spend part of their studies abroad through a wide range of international exchange programmes. With a network of over 140 partner universities across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, students can gain valuable academic experience abroad while continuing to earn credits towards their degree.
IAE Paris-Est partner institutions are carefully selected for the quality of their teaching and their dedicated support for international students. Depending on the destination, students can take courses in English, Spanish, or other languages such as German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, or Korean.
Exchange opportunities are available through several channels:
Students are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host university, except McGill University, which applies a partial exemption. All academic results earned abroad are fully recognised and contribute to validating the academic year at IAE Paris-Est.
Students have the opportunity to undertake an international exchange at various stages of their academic career.
It is possible to go on an academic exchange in the third year of a Bachelor’s degree (L3) or in the first year of a Master’s degree (M1). An exchange can also be undertaken as part of the International Management Diploma (DU), which is offered either between the L3 and M1, or between the M1 and M2.
Destinations vary depending on the agreements established with our partner universities. We invite you to consult the list of our partners to discover the opportunities available.
In addition, short-term exchange programmes are also available, notably in the form of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) organised in collaboration with our partner institutions. To ensure you don’t miss out on these opportunities, we strongly recommend joining our TEAMS OUTGOING group, where information and calls for applications are regularly posted.
At IAE Paris-Est, students receive comprehensive support throughout their international mobility journey:
Personalised guidance before, during, and after the stay abroad
Information sessions and testimonials from former exchange students
Opportunities to connect with international students at the IAE
Financial aid to help fund the mobility experience
Participating in an exchange programme is a unique opportunity to discover new teaching approaches, explore diverse cultures, and enhance your employability in a competitive job market.

IAE Paris-Est partners with over 140 universities worldwide to offer students high-quality academic exchange opportunities. These institutions are carefully selected for their teaching excellence and their welcoming environment for international students.
Thanks to this network, students gain access to an enriching educational experience and enjoy international academic recognition — a true asset for building a global career.
