Our sustainable approach

Training managers who are aware of social, economic and environmental issues
At IAE Paris-Est, social, environmental and academic responsibility lies at the heart of our university management school project. We train managers who are able to understand societal change and act responsibly, integrating economic, social and environmental issues into their professional practices.

An approach aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals

IAE Paris-Est’s responsible approach is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations, with a particular focus on:

  • SDG 4 – Quality education
  • SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth

Our teaching, research and student support activities also contribute to other SDGs related to equality, reducing inequalities, innovation, responsible consumption, health and climate action.

Promoting access to quality education for all

As a university school, IAE Paris-Est applies national tuition fees for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, in order to promote access to high-quality education for as many people as possible.

Students may benefit from:

  • Grants based on social criteria for initial training
  • Remuneration for work-study programmes
  • Possible exemptions for continuing education
  • International mobility support, in addition to Erasmus programmes

Courses are delivered in small groups, with individualised academic and professional support.

Training responsible professionals and supporting employability

All bachelor’s and master’s programmes include a period of professional experience, enabling students to progressively develop their professional skills.
IAE Paris-Est supports students’ professional integration through:

  • Support mechanisms for securing internships, work-study placements and employment
  • Initiatives developed with partner companies
  • The involvement of an active alumni network

Social responsibility integrated into all programmes

Social responsibility and sustainable development are core components of the academic offering at IAE Paris-Est.

  • A CSR and ethics module is integrated into all master’s programmes
  • All permanent lecturers and research professors incorporate CSR principles into their teaching

A dedicated programme: Master’s in CSR Management

IAE Paris-Est offers a Master’s in Corporate Social Responsibility Management, recognised as one of the leading programmes in France in its field.
The programme trains students to understand, manage and evaluate CSR strategies and initiatives within organisations.

Committed research: Management and Society

Research conducted at IAE Paris-Est forms part of a scientific framework centred on “Management and Society”.
This work analyses the links between transformations in management practices and societal change, contributing to the development of management models that integrate economic, social and environmental objectives.

Committed student life

Responsible engagement is also reflected in student life, notably through the O’ Grand Cœur association, which carries out environmental and humanitarian initiatives: solidarity collections, outreach programmes, environmental awareness campaigns and events linked to the professional world.
